AREA OF EXPERTISE
As a psychotherapist with over a decade of experience, I have worked with adults in private and educational settings, specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, complex trauma, dissociation, health and stress-related disorders, as well as support during difficult life phases and circumstantial stress.
My personal experience of overcoming immigration stress and identity crisis has given me a unique perspective and insight into the challenges faced by individuals in adapting to new cultural environments.
I approach therapy with genuine care, compassion, and straightforwardness, firmly believing in human resilience. I help my clients gain a deeper understanding of their experiences, emphasizing insight and self-reflection over affirmative actions or social activism.
As a peer-reviewed trainer in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment Practitioner, I provide training, supervision, and clinical case consultation for professionals.
FEE AND BOOKING
My fee for individual sessions is $150 per session, which includes HST. Each session is 50 minutes in length, and payment can be made via credit card or Interac e-transfer. I do require 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel your appointment, and I have a cancellation policy in place.
It's important to note that psychotherapy is not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), but some extended insurance policies may provide coverage. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.
